Each slice is its own transaction and only counts after it is confirmed on-chain. A slice that failed before reaching the network is retried twice; one that reached the network is never repeated. Before each slice Bundly checks the balance, your price limit, your slippage limit and your loss limit, and saves the reason when it skips one.
